Drivers in their 40s most likely to speed

Data research by insurance website Moneysupermarket.com shows that those most likely to speed are in their 40s

The analysis used 14 million insurance quotes and found that the drivers with the highest conviction rate were aged between 40 and 49 years old, 8.6% for men and 11.4% for women. Those in their 30s were next followed by those between 50 and 64.

The driver profile of those most likely to speed is professionals driving powerful cars and in high paid jobs, surgeons and company directors were some of the professions found.
