Ex-Formula One world champion Damon Hill stated in an interview with the Radio Times he wants to see 55mph limits on motorways, not 80mph
Damon Hill said he would like to see a 55mph limit on motorways and that most people drive too fast anyway and far too close to the vehicle in front of them thinking that they know how to handle a car if it were to get into difficulties. The Government have suggested that there will be a revised speed limit of 80mph.
