Following on from a public consultation a decision has been made on classic car MOT exemption
The consultation showed high levels of support, 73% of respondents agreed that the existing legislation should be reviewed. Concern was shown from those that thought there would be an increase in accidents.
Generally speaking vehicles of historic interest are better maintained by their owners than modern vehicles. The changes will come into effect on 18 November 2012.
