The Government is planning generous grants to those buying electric cars in 2011
The consumer incentive scheme will make grants available to initially nine eco-friendly cars, with more to follow next year. £20 million in funds have been set aside to help develop a network of charging points around towns and cities in places such as car parks, leisure and retail centres. The Government is hoping the funding will kick start the green car revolution in Britain.
