Drink drive cricketer blames cat
Bowler Graeme Swann blamed his trapped cat for his drink driving charge
After returning home from a night out, Graeme found his pet cat trapped under floorboards. Upset by this, he drove to the nearest superstore to buy some screwdrivers in order to free the cat. Police stopped him and he gave a blood test reading of 83mg, the legal limit being 80mg. His trial is ongoing.
