Big Brother CCTV rakes in £1 million

A CCTV camera at Clapham South underground station has an estimated revenue of £1 million

The camera is targeted at a bus stop outside of the station where frequently motorists park up to drop off passengers. It catches on average 23 motorists a day each with a fine of £100. The legality of the camera has been bought into dispute as there are no signs warning drivers there is CCTV and the bus stop sign allegedly states that parking is allowed outside of certain hours while drivers are still being fined during these off-peak times.
