Men who don’t drive
13% of males do not drive, according to statistics by a car insurer
One third of those who have elected not to drive say that they actually don’t have the requirement, while 10% said they failed the driving test first time round and hadn’t bothered to do a retest, possibly due to the high expense of driving lessons. There are however still the old stereotypes around with 44% of women expecting men to be able to drive and they find it a bit odd if they don’t.
