Speeders insurance rises
Insurance companies, affected by an increase in claims, have increased insurance premiums for those with points
The average premium has increased by about £180 from last year to £1000. Some companies won’t increase a premium if there is one indiscretion on the licence, but drivers that have multiple convictions will see a rise. The insurers are increasing the cost to fill the hole in profits by the increase in claims during the recession.
