Conservative radical transport plans

Shadow Transport Secretary Theresa Villiers plans to end speed cameras

The plans, unveiled at the recent Conservative Party Conference to win over the votes of millions of motorists, will stop the expansion of the fixed speed camera network throughout the country. In addition they want to bring in other measures to improve the transport network, such as tackling congestion, new high speed rail links, no third runway at Heathrow and measures to make alternative forms of transport more attractive to road users.
