Research by an insurance company has revealed lower commute times during school holidaysThe most time saved on the morning commute when schools are on holidays was in London, with an average saving of just under 16 minutes. Northern Ireland came second with 13.5 minutes. The South West had the lowest time saving of 9.5 minutes. Whilst those figures do not sound like a lot, when you multiply that over a week it represents a significant amount of time not spent travelling to work.
