No clear sign
Drivers fail to recognise the most common road signs, research suggestsRoad safety charity, Brake, conducted a poll of 2000 drivers to see if their knowledge of road signage is still current. The results show an alarming gap. 45% couldn’t identify the No Motor Vehicles sign, 15% didn’t know what the national speed limit sign looked like and a worrying two thirds couldn’t identify a zebra crossing sign.
