M25 gantry speed cameras “not working”

AOL News submitted 20 Freedom of Information requests over 3 months to local Police authorities to discover that over the last 12 months no-one has been caught by the gantry cameras

Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire and Thames Valley Police admitted that the gantry cameras installed along their stretches of the M25 were either not live or hadn’t caught any motorists. Essex Police revealed that there were no live cameras on its stretch, whilst Kent Police stated that none of the cameras had yet been commissioned.

This may change now that AOL have revealed their findings
