Speed camera number increase
A Freedom of Information request has revealed the number of speed cameras has increased
The RAC Foundation made the FoI request and found that compared to 2010 the number of cameras has increased.
No figures were provided by RAC as to the actual breakdown but out of the 32 administrative bodies 10 had the same number of cameras as they did in 2010 while only two had switched their cameras off completely.
Interestingly the number of cameras that actually take images has fallen from 529 to 487.
