Amendments to benefits-in-kind taxation on company cars could kill off the UK electric vehicle market
The changes due in 2015/16 are as a result of the end of the current 5-year exemption on zero and low carbon emission vehicles. Tax will be 13% in 2015.
Industry sources suggest that buyers of fleet vehicles will be put off of purchasing electric vehicles effectively stunting the UK market.
