Medical standards of fitness to drive

The guidelines that doctors follow in advising patients of their fitness to drive have been updated

The guide informs and assists medical professionals in informing patients of theirs whether they should notify the DVLA of a medical condition that is likely to cause a sudden disabling event whilst driving.

  • PARKINSON’S DISEASE – New Entry
  • SPONTANEOUS ACUTE SUBDURAL HAEMATOMA – New Entry.
  • DURAL AV FISTULA – New Entry.
  • ETT and HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY- New Entry.
