One third of centre line markings on Britain’s most dangerous roads are non-existent
In a report published by the Road Safety Markings Association, 8/10 of the country’s most dangerous roads have centre line markings that are so worn they do not conform to the minimum specification. The roads that have recently undergone improvements to road markings have reduced their KSI rates by as much as 74%. It costs £2.55 to mark a metre of road with white lines.
