Oxfordshire cameras could be switched on again

Oxfordshire County Council have conducted tests at sites that have had their cameras switched off

The results have shown that the number of drivers now speeding past the redundant speed cameras has risen by almost 88%. Thames Valley Police and the County Council are “in talks” to get a new agreement for the cameras to be reinstated. The cameras were turned off on the 1st August after spending cuts announced by the new Coalition Government.
