Man dies form tyre explosion
A 51 year-old man has died from an exploding tyre after he tried to remove debris
The man attempted to remove debris with a hammer and chisel that was caught in-between the tyres of his HGV, which were inflated to 100psi. Proper procedure would be to either deflate the tyre or remove the wheel. He suffered chest injuries after being thrown into the air by the force of the explosion.
