Hampshire and Isle of Wight speed camera partnership caught up in falsifying documents
Two contested speed camera tickets have been thrown out of court based on evidence that the camera partnership created a backdated document. The NIP’s were said to be issued in October 2004 but were served too late within the 14 day time limit. An employee from the partnership produced a certificate in February 2005 effectively backdating the NIP. It is unclear if this is a widespread practice.
