Public Parking
The DfT has just released results from December 2008 survey into public attitudes towards parkingThe survey revealed some interesting figures about the public’s experiences and attitude4s towards parking, domestic and local. The availability of a parking space or garage figures high on house buyers wish lists, 33% even said that a parking space would be important, even though they didn’t own a car. 18% of car drivers said that they had got a parking ticket in the past year, that figure nearly doubled with drivers between the ages of 16 and 34. The number of accepted appeals against parking tickets was 10% whereas the number of rejected appeals was 16%.
