Doctor tried to con drink drive test with patient’s blood

In an attempt to prove innocence, a family doctor sent a patient’s blood sample to DVLA as her own

After a lengthy ban the DVLA required evidence from her that she was sober in order to allow her to drive again. She attempted to deceive the medical experts with a vial of blood from one of her patients as well as forged signatures.

She has been suspended by the GMC for 12 months for professional misconduct and found guilty of three charges of dishonesty
