Thurrock Council is to pilot an HGV clamping scheme to stop illegally parked LorriesThe scheme will run for two weeks after which there will be a review to see if it was successful. The Road Haulage Association for the eastern area says that there is a lack of truck stops in the area and when drivers need to abide by the hours rules they must park somewhere.
