Turbine-powered motorbike aims to break speed record

A team building the “52 Express” motorcycle are aiming to break the previous 376mph speed record

The team includes James Toseland, the Superbike World Champion, who will be riding the 1,000hp monster powered by a Rolls Royce turbine normally found in helicopters. The motorcycle had its first public outing at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. More photos can be found on the 52 Express Facebook page
