Jet-powered shopping trolley
A Plymouth man modified a shopping trolley with a jet engine – reached 45mph
The shopping trolley is powered by a 2nd-hand Chinook helicopter starter engine and is stabilised with go-kart wheels. Guinness World Records accepted the average speed of 45mph after two runs in opposite directions. The trolley actually reached a top speed of 50mph.
