Rural roads danger

Road safety charity, Brake, is urging motorists to slow down and take care when driving on rural roads

In a survey, 44% of male drivers admitted to speeding, and nearly 25% overtake blind on rural roads. Men are more likely to take risks than women drivers.

In 2011 there were over 11,000 KSI incidents on rural roads and Brake is urging drivers to slow down and recognise the risks faced when overtaking blind.
