Public Consultation on Road Death Investigation Policy
ACPO, the Association of Chief Police Officers, is calling for the public to offer their views on reporting serious road traffic accidents
The consultation will take a focus on standards when responding, reporting, and investigating road accidents and will hopefully improve Police understanding of what causes accidents, whether someone should be prosecuted and the victim compensated and how the risk could be reduced in the future.
Details of how you can contribute to the consultation are available here.
