Scotland & Wales receive extra road funding
£242 million is to be given over to road improvement and maintenance in Scotland and Wales
Over the next three years, Wales will receive £170 million for road repairs and maintenance to bring its roads up to standard whilst Scotland will get £72 million in funding for road improvement schemes covering the Highlands, an upgrade to the A75 and bridge building.
