Professional drivers urged to get a photocard licence

Bus, coach and lorry drivers are required by law to hold a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

A driver qualification card (DQC) proves that the driver holds a CPC. If a driver has a photocard licence they will receive their DQC automatically as the same photo can be used whilst drivers who still have a paper licence will be charged £30 to obtain the DQC.
