Speed cameras switched on in Oxfordshire

Thames Valley Police have reinstated fixed and mobile speed camera sites

Money from cuts at the Thames Valley road policing department and from speed awareness courses will be diverted into switching the cameras back on. Statistics from 2010 compared to 2009 show that there has been an increase of 6 fatalities and 19 serious injuries from road accidents. 72 fixed and 89 mobile cameras will be switched on.
