Motorcycle test set to change

A six month review of the motorcycle test has culminated in calls for a single, on-road motorcycle test

Mike Penning, the Road Safety Minister has a goal of a single test which reflects real motorcycling and from the research conducted by motorcycle groups and training organisations over the past 6 months, there is scope to deliver this with a new hazard avoidance manoeuvre. It has been suggested the new test could be introduced as early as end of 2011, subject to a successful trial.
