Irish speed camera network

Ireland has set-up a new network of speed cameras across the country with the intention of reducing accidents and saving lives.

The locations of the cameras will be at sites that have a history of road traffic accidents and they aim to reduce the number of speed related accidents. So far this year in Ireland nearly 200 people have been killed on the roads. A map, showing the areas in which the cameras will be deployed is available at www.garda.ie
