Bus lane abandoned for motorists
Transport Secretary announced on Monday that the M4 bus lane restrictions will be suspended
This will mean all motorists will be allowed to use the lane, not just buses, taxis and motorcyclists travelling towards London. The intention is to eventually scrap the lane altogether to improve journey times. The suspension will remain until June 2012 after which the lane will become part of the Olympic Network.
