Half of all British drivers’ risk serious injuries by not sitting correctly at the wheel
The research carried out by the British Osteopathic Association (BOA) reveals that 51% of drivers have never adjusted the position of their headrest or sit too far away for it to be effective enough in the event of a collision, increasing their chances of sustaining a whiplash injury. 13% of motorists do not sit with the seatbelt in the correct position and 1 in 7 drivers sit too close to the steering wheel, risking injury from a potential air bag deployment.
