South Yorkshire Police get reversing sensors

South Yorkshire Police have decided to fit parking sensors on all new Police vehicles, to stop damage done to cars

The force spends on average £60,000 making repairs to cars that have been damaged by poor reverse parking, often incidents involve two cars. Police drivers often go through a much harder driver training course than civilian motorists, but still seem to lack coordination to properly manoeuvre a vehicle. Perhaps the money spent on parking sensors should be put into advanced driver training?
