Scooter carpet ride
An elderly man on a mobility scooter decides to transport a whole roll of carpet down the road
The unidentified man was filmed by a car passenger from a car driving closely behind him. The Police have commented on the man’s actions, saying that mobility scooters are exempt from the laws of the unsafe carriage of goods as they aren’t classed as a motor vehicle, but this does not mean that they shouldn’t be used in a reckless manner that may cause harm to other road users.
