Fastest Lawnmower record
A British built lawnmower has broken the world land speed record for a petrol-driven mower
The mower, driven by Don Wales whose Grandfather was Sir Malcolm Campbell, took the machine to 87.833 mph at Pendine Sands. The previous world record was 80.792 mph set by the Americans in 2006. In order to qualify as a record the mower must still be able to cut grass.
