Government review of severe weather response
The Government is set to review the effectiveness of the transport networks response to severe weather
The review will be a two-fold process. Firstly immediate emergency measures that can be introduced quickly in response to severe weather and secondly longer term measures to enable the transportation system to adapt to weather conditions. The review will help evaluate and put in place best practices that local authorities can use in severe weather conditions.
