New requirements for learner motorcyclists
It has been confirmed by the DfT, the DVLA and the DSA that changes to driver testing, training, examination and licensing will come into effect in 2013
The changes for motorcyclists will mean that the minimum age for inexperienced riders on high powered motorcycles will be 24 and motorcycles will be put into categories, depending on their power. If as a rider you wish to progress to a larger capacity motorbike then an additional test will be required.
