Scottish speeding biker given support by Police

Police offered a letter of support for a man charged with Dangerous Driving by overtaking a line of traffic at 117mph

The biker overtook a line of traffic on a bend last year; the lead car was a Police vehicle. He was charged with Dangerous Driving but then pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of careless driving after a Police officer submitted a letter detailing how the biker had organised various trips to Durham mini-moto Club for youngsters in his area. He was fined £400 and given six points by the Scottish court.
