Older drivers no more at risk than other ages

The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has published findings that motorists over 70 are safer than younger drivers

The research discovered that the number of drivers involved in crashes were higher in the 20s age group than in those that are over 70. Older drivers have a more careful driving style and avoid driving on motorways and in risky conditions, such as low light, wet roads or at rush hour.
