North Wales Speeding Refund
North Wales Police may have to refund £18,000 worth of speeding tickets
Due to the Police mistakenly thinking the limit was 30mph, motorists that were caught since the beginning of March may have their fine refunded. The stretch of road through the village of Bala in Snowdonia is subject to a 40mph limit even though it has street lighting. North Wales Police thought that the council had revoked the original road traffic order to 30mph in 1993.
