Driving school boss banned

Managing director of BSM, UK’s largest driving school, totted to 17 points and avoided a ban

The director had 11 points on his licence then went to court on a speeding charge for exceeding a 50mph limit and received another 6 points taking him up to 17 points. He avoided the ban by putting forward mitigating circumstances, in particular that a driving ban would prevent him from taking his mother to the local GP.
