Spanish Sat-nav Ban

Approval has been given for a law in Spain that makes it illegal to use sat-nav devices whilst driving

The move is designed to get motorists to pay for road offence fines without challenging them and to restrict GPS device usage. Most sat-nav systems come pre-installed in vehicles and are preloaded with the locations of speed cameras. It is already illegal to use radar detectors. Using a sat-nav device in Spain will be a more serious offence than driving 30mph over the speed limit.
