Pimp my Golf
A Cambridgeshire man has built a modified up 1979 VW Golf that can beat a Veyron supercarAndy bought the Mk 1 Golf for £50 and then set about spending £60,000 on performance modifications including a turbocharged engine. The modded Golf has a top speed of 180mph, can accelerate from 0-60 a tenth of a second quicker than a Bugati Veyron and beat the supercar in the quarter mile race. Andy says steering at speeds above 160mph is nigh on impossible.
