Ban smoking in cars
Campaigners are calling for a ban on smoking in a similar way mobile phones are banned
The fears revolve around the exposure that passengers, especially children, have from passive smoking in a confined space and the distracting nature of smoking whilst driving. Pro-smoking groups argue that having a specific law for banning smoking in cars is too heavy handed.
