Sat-nav on the blink

The technology used to keep sat-nav working, GPS, could fail as early as next yearThe 20-year-old Global Positioning System GPS is reliant on a network of satellites, orbiting the earth, which is currently run by the US Air Force. Europe has a similar system called Galileo which is due to be implemented next year.
